get to know me

I dove right into photography when I was gifted my first DSLR camera from my grandparents after high school graduation over 15 years ago. I photographed anything and everything - especially my younger sister. After sharing a few of her photos on social media, the messages began flooding in with requests for senior portraits. I then started investing time and money into research, equipment and education. I also had an amazing mentor and friend help guide me along the way: Michelle Funk. Her work is absolutely beautiful, and I owe so much of my success to her.
I was born and raised in Baytown, and it’s been such a rewarding experience to serve my hometown and community through my photography services. Full time, I’m buzzing around in an external corporate communications role (you’ve probably seen me around town at several non-profit events). When I’m not taking photos or editing, I love spending time with my husband, family and our dogs Archie and Murphy, as well as volunteering, traveling and drawing.
